About us

Geneviève Chénard

Psychoeducator, owner

A psychoeducator by training, I’m convinced that we all have strengths within us that enable us to face the challenges of everyday life. My job is mainly to help you make better use of them to make your life easier, but you are the experts. Whether for evaluation or follow-up, I’m available to listen to your understanding and perception. I have the most wonderful team in the world, but I also want to team up with you!

Sabrina Sauvé

Psychosocial counsellor

Fresh out of my bachelor’s degree in psycho-education, I’m passionate about human development. I fell in love with psychoeducation after working as an access worker with people in the justice system and parents who had lost legal custody of their child. What’s more, my 6 years as a day camp animator and my job in an elementary school have made me realize that children and teenagers are a clientele I particularly like. I love working with families to help them regain a healthy family dynamic and balance in their lives. I am a gentle and smiling person, I have a lot of energy to offer. We look forward to meeting you soon!

Vanessa Chouinard

Psychoeducator, Clinical Coordinator

My dearest wish is to succeed in helping as many people as possible around me, by giving my support, my empathetic ear and my time. Many years ago, I fell in love with psychoeducation and its vision of understanding human beings. I’m very lucky to work with people who make me grow as a person and as a professional, and for whom I challenge myself to make a small difference in their lives, so that they can achieve their goals for change. I love working with families and helping them achieve a balanced life. I’m also passionate about attachment theory intervention. Thank you for your confidence and see you soon!

Jessica-Anne Hayes

Specialized educator

Passionate about human development and behavior, I’ve been working in the field of special education for several years. I’m outgoing and dynamic, but also very observant and a good listener. I’ve spent a lot of time working with children in schools. I discovered all kinds of colorful personalities and became particularly interested in autistic children. Then I wanted to broaden my horizons. What if instead of working with the children at school, I worked with their families? It was with this approach that I decided to pursue my work. I hope to be able to translate behaviors into words to help you and your family on your way.

Maxim Jodoin

Clinical sexologist and psychotherapist

Since 2019, I’ve had the privilege of practicing as a sexologist and psychotherapist with our fine team. I offer individual psychotherapy for adults of all ages. Psychotherapy is first and foremost a process of emotional healing. It honors the unique history of the individual, which manifests itself in different ways in the relationship with oneself, with others, in the difficulties experienced and in symptoms. It’s by working out and clarifying the emotional workings behind the difficulties and symptoms that the person can gradually let go of them. By establishing a climate of trust, dignity and non-judgment, we’ll try to unravel the roots of the trials you’ve been through, enabling you to liberate new ways of being, based on profound change.

Sonya Boucher

Sexologist

Healthy, active and fulfilling sexuality is a fundamental right for all citizens. That said, it’s not always easy to get it!

This is exactly what motivated my years of research and intervention! On the one hand, to popularize what sexual rights mean, but, on the other, to understand how they can be respected when living in a community. That is, when you live with a disability, ASD or ID, but also when you retire or have an accident that has caused head trauma.

In short, how do you deal with sexuality in intermediate resources, in residential and long-term care settings? Part of the answer lies in multidisciplinary teamwork, of course!

My expertise enables me to offer you either support in improving your sexual health, sexological training in the workplace, or family or couple follow-up, all based on an educational and humanizing approach.

Valérie St-Onge

Specialized educator

Some people take a very long time to figure out what they want to do with their lives, what they’re made for. I was lucky enough to discover the profession of special needs educator at exactly the right time in my life. And it turned out that I was made for it. I’m an empathetic person who faces events with positivity. I’m passionate about my job, and I’m fully committed to everything I do. After 20 years’ experience, 15 of which as an educator in schools, I’ve had the opportunity to work with young people of different ages. During these years, I wanted to perfect my knowledge so as to be even better equipped to help those around me, which is why I obtained 3 certificates in the field of intervention. I base my interventions on a deep-seated belief that people are capable of anything when you believe in them and help them put themselves into action. It will be my pleasure to be there for your family, whatever your needs.

Claude Loparis

Social worker

Having graduated in social work from the Université de Montréal in 1987, I have acquired a wide range of experience in the field. At the CLSC, I worked in schools, in adult and youth mental health, in early childhood, in psychosocial intake, on the crisis team and in regular social services. I can therefore help young teenagers and children with their parents and schools. Adults and children with mental health problems. People experiencing bereavement, separation, personal questioning, etc. New to the Entre-nous multidisciplinary clinic, it is with passion and dedication that I intend to offer my services. I take to heart the human and professional values that dictate my practice of social work. So it’s with a lot of respect and listening that I’ll help you get better.

Vincent Aupin

I am characterized by my friendly approach, my empathy and my ability to listen. During meetings, I make it a priority to establish a climate of non-judgment and openness. Emotions, questioning and teamwork play an important role in my follow-ups. I offer my services to children, teenagers, adults and couples for sexual, emotional and relational issues. Together, we’ll work as a team to find solutions and tools to achieve your goals and improve the current situation.
