Memoir on children’s sleep

With my passion for human behaviour and helping others, psychoeducation is the ideal profession for me! I work primarily with children, adolescents and families experiencing a variety of adjustment difficulties. I have also developed an expertise in the sleep of children aged 0-12. I also teach yoga and use certain notions of mindfulness and breathing as tools for emotional management. I like to work with strengths and interests to cope with difficulties, in order to develop capacities for optimal adaptive functioning.

We look forward to meeting you!

Nicole Bouchard

Quebec Professional Art Therapist (ATPQ)

Drawing, painting, collage and modeling are just some of the ways art therapy helps you discover yourself. Through this approach, new perspectives are explored, helping to resolve difficulties that stand in the way of personal fulfillment. The creative process enables us to tame our emotions and express them in a liberating way. I work with children, adolescents, adults, seniors, couples or families to help them overcome: adaptation to illness or chronic pain, stress, caregiver fatigue, dependency, parental separation or romantic break-up, personal and relationship difficulties, life transitions, loss and grief, difficult family relationships (parent/child/teen, couple), personal development (self-esteem/self-confidence).

Maxim Jodoin

Clinical sexologist and psychotherapist

Since 2019, I’ve had the privilege of practicing as a sexologist and psychotherapist with our fine team. I offer individual psychotherapy for adults of all ages. Psychotherapy is first and foremost a process of emotional healing. It honors the unique history of the individual, which manifests itself in different ways in the relationship with oneself, with others, in the difficulties experienced and in symptoms. It’s by working out and clarifying the emotional workings behind the difficulties and symptoms that the person can gradually let go of them. By establishing a climate of trust, dignity and non-judgment, we’ll try to unravel the roots of the trials you’ve been through, enabling you to liberate new ways of being, based on profound change.

Sonya Boucher

Sexologist

Healthy, active and fulfilling sexuality is a fundamental right for all citizens. That said, it’s not always easy to get it!

This is exactly what motivated my years of research and intervention! On the one hand, to popularize what sexual rights mean, but, on the other, to understand how they can be respected when living in a community. That is, when you live with a disability, ASD or ID, but also when you retire or have an accident that has caused head trauma.

In short, how do you deal with sexuality in intermediate resources, in residential and long-term care settings? Part of the answer lies in multidisciplinary teamwork, of course!

My expertise enables me to offer you either support in improving your sexual health, sexological training in the workplace, or family or couple follow-up, all based on an educational and humanizing approach.

Geneviève Chénard

Psychoeducator, owner

A psychoeducator by training, I’m convinced that we all have strengths within us that enable us to face the challenges of everyday life. My job is mainly to help you make better use of them to make your life easier, but you are the experts. Whether for evaluation or follow-up, I’m available to listen to your understanding and perception. I have the most wonderful team in the world, but I also want to team up with you!

Jessica-Anne Hayes

Specialized educator

Passionate about human development and behavior, I’ve been working in the field of special education for several years. I’m outgoing and dynamic, but also very observant and a good listener. I’ve spent a lot of time working with children in schools. I discovered all kinds of colorful personalities and became particularly interested in autistic children. Then I wanted to broaden my horizons. What if instead of working with the children at school, I worked with their families? It was with this approach that I decided to pursue my work. I hope to be able to translate behaviors into words to help you and your family on your way.

Vanessa Chouinard

Psychoeducator, Clinical Coordinator

My dearest wish is to succeed in helping as many people as possible around me, by giving my support, my empathetic ear and my time. Many years ago, I fell in love with psychoeducation and its vision of understanding human beings. I’m very lucky to work with people who make me grow as a person and as a professional, and for whom I challenge myself to make a small difference in their lives, so that they can achieve their goals for change. I love working with families and helping them achieve a balanced life. I’m also passionate about attachment theory intervention. Thank you for your confidence and see you soon!
